Beach Chic Wedding with a Unique Mexican Vibe

Cabo is one of Mexico’s top wedding destinations, especially for U.S. couples looking for the ideal spot to tie the knot in an exotic setting.

Andrew and Tadra, a young couple from San Francisco, fell in love with this unique place. It was perfect to hold their dream beach chic wedding, complementing Tadra’s laid back attitude and style, and Andy’s jolly spirit.

They met in their home town at the Union Street Festival. Could’ve been the overall festive mood, the craze of the street parties, or Cupid’s trickery … No one knows how it all happened, but these two fell madly in love with each other.

What does Tadra love about Andy most? “He’s funny, smart and thoughtful” – she admits. What does Andrew love about his girl most? … Well, he doesn’t say, but his eyes are lit with so much love!

Their relationship grew stronger, and then came … the proposal. Tadra tells us the story of how it happened:

Andy planned a surprise trip to Las Vegas and proposed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, then surprised me with a cabana at the pool the next day with 6 of their friends from Southern California.”

For the venue of their dream beach chic wedding, the couple chose the Cabo Surf Hotel & Spa, located on a pristine and golden sand beach with a beautiful ocean cove in the San Jose bay of Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.

The unique Mexican vibe of the place inspired the main theme of the wedding. The wedding ceremony and party were held outdoors, right on the beach, against the breathtaking beauty of the ocean view. The traditional wedding-white was contrasted by a lavish explosion of exotic colors and festive lights, complemented by live music, dancing and fireworks.

Tadra wore a Mexican-style wedding gown of rich white lace, revealing her beautiful slender figure. Her shoes and accessories were elegant and chic. Her hair was beautifully styled in a low, loose up-do with side swept bangs and just a few loose pieces to frame her face. Her bridesmaids wore deep-sea-blue, knee-length dresses of airy chiffon, each in a slightly different design. Their hairdos were also both – different, yet in the same style, with a braid integrated into their up-dos.

Andy and his groomsmen all looked dashing in elegant dark suits and white shirts, yet, following the unique spirit of the whole event, wore no ties and just casual sandals.

The touching wedding ceremony was followed by a photo session on the beach all captured by Pink Palm Photos.

And then started the party!
