From Michelle: “Along with shooting weddings, I was also into fashion, beauty and music photography – from shooting lookbooks and model portfolios, to band press photos, live shows, media events, behind the scenes for music videos, and assisting commercial photographers. The part I always loved most was photographing people in moments of excitement, passion or vulnerability.
Shooting my first wedding was an eye opener. Gaining the understanding of how special it was to be around not just the bride and groom, but their entire family and circle of friends on one of the most important days of their lives was profound, and I thorougly enjoy being a part of that.
Beauty and boudoir photography is something I also really love. Working with women and making them feel beautiful and unstoppable is amazing! There is a real transformation that happens, inside and out, and it’s so great to see.
I am a thrift store junkie who loves the thrill of a good fashion find, a DIYer for life, a heavy sleeper, a vivid dreamer, with aspirations of living in a hut on a tropical island. I am also contemplating becoming a cat person. “
